Anna Faye Nelson, 87, of Lakeland, Florida, passed away Friday, January 21, 2022, at the Clark County Nursing Home in Kahoka, Missouri.

Anna was born on January 29, 1934, in Packwood, Iowa the daughter of Cecil and Loretta Wheatley Williams.

Her family moved to Lost Nation, Iowa and Anna attended school. She then moved to Memphis, Missouri where she worked at J.C. Penney's and met her husband. In October 1953, she married Leslie Eugene Garrison in Memphis, Missouri and to this union three daughters were born.

On November 25, 1990, in Lakeland, Florida, Anna married Robert M. Nelson.

She moved to Lakeland, Florida, in 1975, and continued to work for J.C. Penney's and also owned and operated apartment complexes. Once her health failed she returned to Memphis, Missouri in May of 2021.

She is survived by three daughters, Patty Ann and Terry Simerl of West Melbourne, Florida, Daisy Jean Murphy of Memphis, Missouri; and Juanita Kay Garrison of Memphis, Missouri; a sister, Rosella Goodwin of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, brothers, Edward Williams and Francis Williams; sisters, Lucille Williams, Marie Loney, and Ginny Whitehead.

Interment will take place in the Memphis Cemetery in Memphis, Missouri.
