Berna "Beth" Primm, 76, of Novelty, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at the Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, Missouri. Beth was born on February 13, 1944, in Macon, Missouri, the daughter of Bernard and Bernice McConnel Frazee. She graduated from the Novelty High School in the Class of 1962, and continued her education with Northeast Missouri State Teachers College in Kirksville, Missouri. On November 22, 1962, in Kirksville, Missouri, Beth married Larry Eugene Primm, and to this union one son was born. She worked at Baldwins, Crown Finance, and as a bookkeeper at Cardwell Lumber Company. In 1977 she retired and helped Larry farm, something she really enjoyed. They attended the Plevna Christian Church and she had been a member of the Green Acres Extension. She enjoyed life, traveling, her cats but most of all she loved her family and the farm life. Beth is survived by her husband, Larry Primm of the farm near Novelty, Missouri; a son, Jerrin Primm of Kirksville, Missouri; two grandchildren, Devon Doss and Morgan Riley; and numerous neighbors and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Bernice Frazee. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 19, 2020, at the Doss Funeral Home in Edina, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 12 noon on Saturday until service time at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Locust Hill Cemetery, west of Novelty, Missouri. Reese Blaine will officiate and music will be provided by Marsha Pinson and Martha Marie Huse. Casket Bearers will be Tom Hamlin, J.W. Jones, Jim Pinson, Richard Harden, Chad Primm, and Rex Franke. An expression of sympathy in memory of Beth Primm may be left to the Locust Hill Cemetery. A memorial may be left at or mailed to the Doss Funeral Home 208 N. 4th Street, Edina, Missouri 63537.
