Boyd Alan Bradley 78 of Arbela Missouri passed away at 6:10 A.M. on Monday May 2 2011 at the Scotland County Hospital in Memphis Missouri.He was born on January 23 1933 in Bible Grove Missouri to George Loris and Zella Riebel Bradley.He married Judy Noble on October 13 1962 in Etna Missouri.Boyd graduated from Bible Grove School and received a scholarship to attend the Kirksville Teachers College in Kirksville Missouri. He proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict as a medic. Upon returning from the war he owned and operated the MFA stations in Memphis and Kahoka Missouri. His true passion was his dairy farm in which he and Judy supplied Grade A milk for Prairie Farms Dairy for more than twenty years earning many awards.Remaining to cherish his memory is his wife Judy one son: Kevin Bradley and his wife Jeri of Centerville Iowa and a granddaughter Kaitlin Bradley of Quincy Illinois sisters-in-law Glendora Bradley of Kahoka Missouri Joyce Harvey and her husband Joe Eddie of Memphis Missouri and numerous nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents two brothers: Derril Bradley and Richard Bradley aunts uncles and friends.A visitation will be held on Friday May 6 2011 at the Memphis Funeral Home where the family will be present to greet relatives and friends from 6 until 8 P.M.Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Saturday May 7 at the funeral home with John Gorham officiating. Burial will follow in the Memphis Cemetery. Graveside military honors will be accorded.
