Obituary

Curt Albert Dunn, 45, of St. Charles, Missouri, returned to his father in heaven Friday, August 17, 2012, with family at his side, he had been hospitalized the last week at St. Luke's Hospital after a courageous battle with breast cancer. He was born December 12, 1966, in Bloomfield, Iowa, to William "Keith" and Marilyn Prebe Dunn. He grew up in the Bible Grove, Missouri area; attended Bible Grove School and graduated from Scotland County R-I High School, Class of 1985. He graduated from University of Missouri with a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics. During his time at Mizzou, he participated in many activities including the Ag Econ Club and was an officer of the Alpha Gamma Rho Agricultural Fraternity. He was employed for the past 11 years by Monsanto, most recently as a project director. He married the love of his life, Laurie Hanger, on September 11, 1993 at Redbud, IL. To this union a son, Jackson, was born. Curt was an active and a very faithful member of the Harvester Christian Church. He enjoyed camping, fishing, woodworking and completing home projects, as well as helping others. He realized his greatest enjoyment when he was with his family. He is survived by his wife, Laurie Ann and their son, Jackson William, of the home; his parents, Keith and Marilyn Dunn, of Bible Grove, MO; two brothers: Brant Dunn and his wife, September, and their children, Tyler and Autumn, of Fresno, CA, and Eric Dunn and his wife, Gwen, and their children, Jordan, Hannah and Jared, of Bible Grove, MO; parents-in-law, Bill and Earlene Hanger of Prairie du Rocher, IL; brothers-in-law, Dean Hanger and his wife, Vonnie, and their children, Nathen & wife Emma, Lucas, Brayden, Kristen, Cullen and Shae of Redbud, IL; Brian Hanger and his wife, Nicole, and their children, Kyla, Hannah, Joe, Emma and Breanna of Prairie du Rocher, IL and a sister-in-law, Michelle Mueller and her husband, Allen, and their children Jacob and Garrah of Columbia, IL. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. On line condolence may be sent to mmphisfh@nemr.net
