Curtis Glidewell 75 of Memphis Missouri died March 20 2008 at the Scotland County Hospital in Memphis. He was born November 8 1932 in Milan Missouri to William Marion and Nora Sarah Payne Glidewell. He completed one year of college while in the service. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He married Beverly Bernice Wagner on June 30 1956 at Aurora Illinois. To this union four children were born.Curtis owned Coal City Transfer Trucking Company at Aurora Illinois for ten years. He also worked for ABF Trucking. He was a member of the Eagles Club and the Tiger Club in Aurora Illinois. Curtis enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a life member of the National Rifle Association.
