David Lee Robinson 55 of Granger Missouri died Monday December 14 2009 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy Illinois.He was born March 26 1954 at Kirksville Missouri to Lester Wayne and Patricia Maxine Biggs Robinson Shelley.He graduated from Scotland County R-1 School Class of 1972.He was employed by Shannans Pallet Mill in Granger Missouri. David enjoyed riding motorcycles and was a long time member of District 14 ABATE of Iowa.He is survived by his mother Patricia Shelley of Memphis Missouri a son Jeremy Robinson of Granger Missouri a sister Linda Shannan and her husband Tom of Granger Missouri three brothers: Larry Robinson and his friend Janice Dove of Centerville Iowa Leroy Robinson and his wife Margie of Storm Lake Iowa Roger Robinson and his wife Pattie of Memphis Missouri and many nieces nephews great nieces great nephews and friends.He was preceded in death by his step-father Garland Jr. Shelley and his grandparents.A memorial service will be held Saturday December 19 2009 at 1 P.M. at Memphis Funeral Home with Reverend Charles Hammack officiating. Burial of cremains will follow the service in Prairie View Cemetery in rural Scotland County. Honorary bearers will be Stanley Barker Brandon Duncan Steve Girardin Aaron Burr Tim Branch Randy Thomas Noel Barker Dick Templeton and Jordan Wilson. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 12 noon until the time of the service.
