Elizabeth Adelaide Bradley, 87, of Novelty, Missouri, passed away Monday, March 19, 2012, at her residence in Novelty, Missouri.

Elizabeth was born on June 2, 1924, in Newark, Missouri, the daughter of Morton and Lula McKenzie Rudd.

She was raised in the Newark Community, attended the Woodland Rural School and graduated from the LaBelle High School in the Class of 1943.

On June 30, 1946, in Edina, Missouri, Elizabeth married Pearl W Bradley.

After their marriage they farmed near Bee Ridge before moving to Locust Hill to farm in 1956. In 1977, they moved to Novelty, Missouri to make their home in retirement.

She was a member of the Locust Hill Church most of her life and had attended churches in Newark and Bee Ridge. She enjoyed quilting, playing cards and Tuesday coffee in Novelty.

Elizabeth is survived by a son Dennis Bradley of Novelty, Missouri; a daughter-in-law, Myrna Bradley of Locust Hill, Missouri; a brother, James Rudd of Knox City, Missouri; two sisters-in-law, Gene Rudd of Ewing, Missouri and Mary Bradley of Wentzville, Missouri; four grandchildren, Bobbi and Matt Clark of Edina, Missouri, Ben and Jenny Bradley of Novelty, Missouri, Jonathan Bradley of Hamilton, Missouri and Jessy and Jason Reuterdahl of Sturgeon, Missouri; four great grandchildren, John Matthew and Patrick W Clark, and Jon Arthur and Jay W Reuterdahl; a special niece and friend, Betty Bergman of Novelty, Missouri; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Morton and Lula Rudd; husband, Pearl W Bradley on May 27, 1993; a son, Duane Bradley on November 20, 2000; a daughter, Janet Faye Bradley on May 30, 1951; a daughter-in-law, Diane Bradley on October 12, 2010; two brothers, J.M. Rudd and Elmo Rudd; and four sisters, Dorotha Minor, Evia Hall, Beulah Campbell, and Estyle Klocke.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at the Doss Funeral Home in Edina, Missouri.

Visitation will be after 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in the Novelty Cemetery in Novelty, Missouri.

Reverend Mike Wilson will officiate and Casket Bearers will be Wayne Rudd, Darrell Rudd, Billy Joe Wilkerson, Joe Allen Moyer, Larry Klocke and John David Parsons. Honorary Bearers will be her ladies from the Novelty Tuesday Coffee Club.
