Gary Lee Cunningham, 65, of Memphis, Missouri, passed away at his residence, on Saturday, January 11, 2020.

Gary was born in Keosauqua, Iowa, on April 25, 1954, the son of Clarence Ray and Marilyn Cortum Cunningham.

He lived most of his life in Memphis, Missouri and attended the Memphis High School. He worked for Morgan Fertilizer, as a Fertilizer Applicator, and later Cunningham Fertilizer. In his retirement he drove grain trucks for many local farmers and businesses.

Gary enjoyed hunting, wasn't good at golf but enjoyed playing, was a NASCAR Fan, and all racing, St. Louis Cardinal Fan, and enjoyed socializing while eating out at all the local restaurants.

He is survived by a brother, Alan Cunningham of Memphis, Missouri; a sister, Marjorie and her husband Wayne Durham of Arbela, Missouri; an aunt, Marion Claman of Cantril, Iowa; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Monica Cunningham.

Gary's wishes were to be cremated and no services will take place, the family suggests you keep his memory in your heart.

Memphis Funeral Home, of Memphis, Missouri, is entrusted with Gary's wishes.
