Jamie Clark Riebel 79 of rural Arbela Missouri died April 28 2010 at Scotland County Memorial Hospital in Memphis Missouri.He was born October 25 1930 at Arbela Missouri to Alva Clark and Lucille Pearl Stone Riebel.He graduated from Memphis High School Class of 1948. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Korean War from March 1952 until March 1954. He married Doris Elaine Schroeder on January 121958 in Fort Madison Iowa and to this union two children were born. Jamie was a life-long farmer raising cattle and doing row crop. He enjoyed being outdoors fishing and some hunting.He was a member of the Wallace W. Gillespie VFW Post #4958.He is survived by his wife Doris of the home a daughter Sandra Riebel of Minneapolis Minnesota a son Jay Riebel and Angie Howard of Branson Missouri two grandchildren: Jason Riebel of Phoenix Arizona Amanda Brown and her husband Josh of Carrollton Texas two great grandsons: Zeke Martinez and Eli Brown. Other survivors include a sister Mary Jane Bergen of Cedartown Georgia nieces nephews and many friends.He was preceded in death by his parents a sister Lurla Meinhardt and two brothers: Darrell Riebel and Roger Riebel.Visitation will open at 9 A.M. at the Memphis Funeral Home on Friday April 30 2010 with the family present to greet relatives and friends from 6 until 8 P.M.Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. at the funeral home on Saturday May 1 2010 with Reverend Charles Hammack officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawn Ridge Cemetery in rural Scotland County. Casket bearers will be Randy Riebel Josh Brown Dan Frederick Jason Riebel Kim Meinhardt and Tom Riebel. Graveside military honors will be accorded by Wallace W. Gillespie V.F.W.
