John Harley Drew 68 of Kahoka Missouri and formerly of Wyaconda Missouri died May 21 2008 at the Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk Iowa.He was born January 31 1940 in Kansas City Missouri to Cliff Canady and Anna Mae Hedrick Drew.John worked for Gregorys Antiques about ten years and loved visiting with friends and neighbors. For the past four and one-half years he resided at the Clark County Nursing Home in Kahoka Missouri. He was affiliated with the Assembly of God Church.John has no known surviving relatives but leaves behind many friends.He was preceded in death by his parents.Funeralservices will be held at 2 P.M. on Tuesday May 27 2008 at the Memphis Funeral Home with Abner Overhulser officiating. Burial will follow in the Etna Cemetery in rural Scotland County. Casket bearers will be Vernon Overhulser Eugene Overhulser Marlin Overhulser Earl Overhulser Curvin Zimmerman amd Loren Huber.Visitation will be from 1 P.M. until the time of the service on Tuesday.Memorials may be made to the Assembly of God Church and may be left at or mailed to Memphis Funeral Home 378 South Market Street Memphis Missouri 63555.Arrangements are under the direction of Memphis Funeral Home.
