Joyce Ann Mason, 84, of Edina, Missouri, passed away Friday, July 31, 2026, at her son’s residence in Oviedo, Florida.

She was born on October 15, 1941, in Knox City, Missouri, the daughter of James Thomas and Alice Ferne Clouser Harper.

Joyce attended Hurdland Elementary School and graduated from the Hurdland High School in the Class of 1959.

On June 14, 1997, in Edina, Missouri, Joyce married John Mason.

Joyce is survived by a son, Richard Lee and Kimberly Gooden of Oviedo, Florida; a step daughter, Kathy Hicks, Brashear, Missouri; grandkids, Elliot Krenn, Rick Krenn, Andrea Gooden, Tamara and Howie Smith, Bo Anderson, and Melissa Anderson; step grandkids, Eddie and Ashley Hicks, John and Aeril Hicks, Amy and Jessie Walker, Carla and Colby Stutsman, Bruce and Angie Mason, Kim Mason, Tom and Teri Mason, and Tileana and Rick Combs; great grandkids, Abigail Anderson, Brayden Smith, Brielyn Joyce Krenn, and Urianna Krenn; step great grandkids, Jessie Lance Walker, Shelby Walker, Lane Stutsman, Paige Stutsman, Tessa and Logan Smith, Tadym and Hayden Miller, Hailey Combs, Ashley Combs, Tara Dawn and Barry Schrage, Ryan and Echo Mason, Brook Mason, Rochelle Lowe, Matt Lowe, Emily Mason, Hanna Mason and Ethan Mason; two sisters, Lottie Rashotte and Carolyn Harper both of Edina, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Alice Harper; husband, John Mason; a son, Carl Wayne Anderson; four brothers, Donald Harper, William “Bill” Harper, Karl R. Harper, and Orville Harper; two sisters, Darlene Scearce, and Wanda Gillespie.

Graveside Celebration of Life will be Saturday, September 5, 2026, at the Linville Cemetery in Edina, Missouri.
