Keith Moore Pulliam, age 96, of Corder, Missouri passed away on May 2, 2026 at Meyer Care Center in Higginsville, MO.

He was born on August 24, 1929, in Kirksville, Missouri, to Vaughn Ray Pulliam and Anna Deen Pulliam.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth; an infant son, Michael; his parents; his sister, Georgia Deen Noel; and one grandson, Brett Kosmiski.

Keith was united in marriage to the love of his life, Elizabeth Hardy Pulliam, and together they shared 67 years of marriage, building a life rooted in faith, family, and hard work.

He is survived by his four children: David (Vickie) Pulliam of Corder, Missouri; Rebecca (Michael) Jusbasche of Houston, Texas; Joyce (Bruce) Kosmiski of Kirksville, Missouri; and Robert (Gina) Pulliam of Montrose, Colorado. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren: Gina (Wade) Kouril, Ashley (Lance) Mitchell, Alison (Adam) Agnew, Camden (Mallory) Pulliam, Jared (Diana) Mark, Rob Mark, Andrew Jusbasche, Brian (Lindsey) Kosmiski, Cara (Danica)Kosmiski, Bethany Kosmiski, Wade (Beth) Pulliam, Megan (Andrew) Currie, Alyssa (Adam) Bueltel, Sarah Pulliam/Boothby (Robert), Jason (Rachel) Pulliam, and Nathan (Mackenzie) Pulliam; and 39 great-grandchildren.

Keith spent most of his life in the Kirksville, Missouri area, where he dedicated himself to farming. They raised Duroc hogs, other livestock, crops and operated a feed store, contributing to the local agricultural community. Following life there, they farmed in the Blythedale community, also spending time in Iowa and Memphis, Missouri before moving in 1994 to Corder, Missouri, where they continued farming.

A man of deep faith, Keith was actively involved in church ministry throughout his life. He and Elizabeth faithfully served wherever they lived. He participated in truck stop ministry and was a deacon at Concordia Baptist Church and later served as a deacon at First Baptist Church in Higginsville. He and Elizabeth were proud of having served as a sponsor for refugees from Southeast Asia years ago and served as foster parents. He was proud to have served in the US Navy on a destroyer during the Korean War early in their marriage.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Stewart-Hoefer Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Friday, May 8, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at First Baptist Church in Higginsville.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 9, at 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church in Higginsville.

Burial will follow in Greensburg, Missouri, at approximately 3:30 PM.

Keith will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his devotion to his family, and his unwavering faith. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched.
