Miles Franklin Chancellor 87 of Memphis Missouri passed away November 18 2010 at the Scotland County Memorial Hospital in Memphis.He was born January 4 1923 at Rutledge Missouri to John R. and Stella Grace Billups Chancellor.He attended country schools in Scotland County graduating from the 8th grade.He served in the United States Army receiving an honorable discharge in January 1946 serving during WWII>He married Roberta Bobbie G. Enness on January 10 1948 at Kirksville Missouri and to this union two sons were born.Miles was a farmer in Scotland County and worked for Pepsi Cola Memphis Bottling Co. Inc. from 1960 until his retirement in 1985. He was a member of the Wallace W. Gillespie Memorial Post 4958 and was a member of the United Methodist Church. He enjoyed woodworking and bowling in his spare time.He is survived by his wife Bobbie of Memphis Missouri two sons: Don Chancellor of Memphis Missouri and Larry Chancellor and his wife Kathy of Pampa Texas a grandson Robert and a granddaughter Mellisa. . Also surviving are three sisters: Mary Norton of Olathe Kansas Kathleen Tripp of Volin South Dakota Garnet Tripp of Kahoka Missouri two sisters-in-law: Donna Chancellor of Vermillion South Dakota Shirley Ruth and her husband Ivan of Memphis Missouri and many nieces nephews and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents five brothers: Max Chancellor Paul Chancellor Joe Chancellor Lee Chancellor Lyle Chancellor three brothers-in-law Denver Tripp Merle Norton Dennis Tripp and a sister-in-law Nadine Chancellor.
