Naomi E. Huggins, 90, formerly of Bloomfield, Iowa, died June 26, 2017, at Mill Pond Care Center in Ankeny, Iowa.

She was born July 16, 1926, at Fairfield, Iowa, to Emery and Belle (Richardson) Prevo.

Naomi attended Bloomfield High School, graduating in 1942. She worked in Des Moines for several years following her high school graduation.

She was married to Wayne Huggins on January 31, 1947, in Bloomfield, Iowa and to this union two children were born.

Naomi assisted her husband in the operation of their business, Huggins Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, for twenty-five years after which both retired in 1984.

In retirement, Naomi enjoyed playing golf, playing Bridge with friends and was an avid reader. She served as a member of the Bloomfield Library Board for several years and was an active member of the Bloomfield Christian Church.

Left to honor her memory is her son, Larry Huggins, of Davenport, Iowa and her daughter, Linda Huggins, of Ankeny, Iowa.

Naomi was preceded in death by her parents, a sister at birth and her husband, Wayne Huggins.
