Nicole Renae Bruce, 44, of Lewistown, Missouri, passed away Thursday,

September 5, 2024.

She was born on February 21, 1980, in Quincy, Illinois, to Terry Wayne Linder

and Debra Trone.

She graduated from the Quincy Senior High School in the Class of 2003.

Nicole found her calling as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Her deep

compassion for others made her a passionate caregiver, and she touched many

lives, especially the elderly, through her work. Her devotion extended beyond her

professional life—Nicole was a vibrant soul who found joy in the simple pleasures

of life. She loved cozy movie nights watching her favorite films like Twilight and

Coyote Ugly, spirited Yahtzee games with her family, cheering for the Pittsburg

Steelers, and attending Shinedown concerts with her son; but most of all she loved

spending time with family and friends at grandma Inez's.

Nicole is survived by her fiancé, Stephan Iwanyckyj; her mother, Debra

Trone; her father, Terry Linder; her children, Kelsi Linder, Anthoney Bruce, and

Aidan Linder; her siblings, Nathan Linder and Lindsey Pryor; along with nieces,

nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Shaun Bruce; her grandmother,

Delores Strieker; her aunt, Theresa King; and her uncle, Melvin Linder.

A private visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 10,

2024, at the Doss Funeral Home in Edina, Missouri. Following the visitation, food

and drinks will be served at the Lewistown Park in Lewistown, Missouri.

An expression of sympathy in memory of Nicole Bruce may be left to the

family's wishes. A memorial may be left at or mailed to the Doss Funeral Home
