Reba L. Parker was born January 6 1918 at Monticello Missouri to Julian C. and Mattie Thompkins Lay. She married Raymond L. Parker and to this union three children were born.Reba was a member of the Memphis United Methodist Church and the Priscilla Circle. She also loved to sew and was a member of the Methodist Quilters. She attended Missouri State Teachers College and taught in the country schools. Reba was a homemaker and loved gardening and working with her flowers and was very active as a 4-H leader.She is survived by her husband Raymond of Memphis Missouri two daughters Norma Woods and her husband Eddie of Memphis Missouri and Marilyn Wangen and her husband Dave of Duluth Minnesota and a son Dale Parker of Seattle Washington. Other survivors include five grandchildren ten great-grandchildren and two brothers Dale Lay and his wife Margaret of LaBelle Missouri and Delbert Lay and his wife Martha Jean of Industry Illinois.
