Reta Mae Glasgow-Davison, 88, of Edina, Missouri, passed away Monday, September 15, 2025 at the Knox County Nursing Home in Edina, Missouri.
She was born on March 10, 1937, near Knox City, Missouri, the daughter of Millard Clifton and Opal Irene Weaver Goodwin.
She graduated from the Edina High School in the Class of 1955.
On June 15, 1956, in Edina, Missouri, Reta married Stanley Wayne Glasgow and to this union three children were born.
For many years Reta was a homemaker until the kids were out of school and then worked at Kid's Are Us daycare, Knox County High School, and the nutrition site.
On June 18 2010 in Kirksville, Missouri, Reta married Walter Sears Davison Jr. and they celebrated ten years of marriage.
While living in Kirksville, she volunteered at the Northeast Regional Medical Center.
Reta is survived by two sons, Stephen and his wife Lori Glasgow of Brooklyn, Iowa and Mike and his wife Vickie Glasgow of Edina, Missouri; a daughter, Pamela and her husband Raun Ward of Evanston, Wyoming; a step son, John and Lois Davison of LaPlata, Missouri; a step daughter, Jane Davison of Minneapolis, Minnesota; a sister, Goldie and Dick Kelly of Granbury, Texas; grandchildren, Amy and Eddie Garrett of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Evan and Miranda Glasgow of Edina, Missouri, Noel Ward of Evanston, Wyoming, Kara Ward and Branon Addair of Galax, Virginia, Abbie and Stephen Vavroch of Lincoln, Nebraska, Shawn and Kelly McKenzie of Rockton, Illinois, Heather McKenzie of Macon, Missouri, Indy Louder and Haven Louder, Minneapolis, Minnesota, Emily Hyland of Northern Ireland, and Meggan and Adam Henry of Kirksville, Missouri; great grandchildren, Greyson and Ella Garrett of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Summer and Tyrell Thompson both of Evanston, Wyoming, Hallie, Alexis, and Charlie Glasgow of Edina, Missouri, Makayla Miller, Kaydon Addair, Gracie, Addair, and Gabby Addair all of Galax, Virginia, Miles and Mila McKenzie of Rockton, Illinois; along with nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Millard and Opal Goodwin; husband, Stanley Glasgow (2006); husband, Walter Davison (2021), a sister, Helen and Donald Parrish; and a brother-in-law, Lyman Boltz.
Funeral services will at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the Doss Funeral Home in Edina, Missouri.
Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Doss Funeral Home in Edina, Missouri.
Burial will be in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, Missouri.
An expression of sympathy in memory of Reta Davison may be left to the First Christian Church of Edina. A memorial may be left at or mailed to the Doss Funeral Home 208 N. 4th Street, Edina, Missouri 63537.
