Ronald "Ronnie" Gene Dochterman, 60, of Memphis, Missouri, died Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at the Scotland County Care Center in Memphis.

He was born July 5, 1955, at Kirksville, Missouri, to Robert Wayne and Carol Lee Hyde Dochterman. Ronnie graduated from Scotland County R-1 High School with the class of 1973. He married Faith Jean Tate on February 24, 1979, at Arbela, Missouri and to this union three daughters and a son were born.

Ronnie worked at Mid States and for Ray Chancellor. He was employed by MFA for thirty years at Kahoka, New Cambria and Memphis. He also worked for Mo Dot, plowing snow. Ronnie did row crop farming in Clark and Scotland counties and raised livestock. He served seventeen years on the Combs Cemetery Board, as well as serving on the MFA Board and was a member of the Farm Bureau.

Ronnie loved to bowl and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. He loved to hunt and fish and was a coin collector. He realized his greatest joy when spending time with his daughters and grandchildren and especially loved doing lottery scratch tickets with his granddaughter, MaKenna and being ornery with Paxton.

He is survived by his daughters: Jennifer J. Dochterman of Jupiter, Florida; Anna Dochterman of Memphis, Missouri and Deidra A. Musgrove and her husband, Cody, of Gorin, Missouri; two grandchildren: MaKenna Musgrove and Paxton Musgrove of Gorin; a sister, Peggy A. Dochterman, of Kansas City, Missouri; two aunts: Edith Dochterman and Joetta Fountain of Kahoka, Missouri; cousins and many, many friends in Clark and Scotland counties as well as a special neighbor, Linda Marlowe, of Memphis.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Darrin Allen Dochterman and a brother, Donald Wayne Dochterman.
