Ronnie Keith Robinson, 49, of Scotland County, passed on at his rural farm Saturday, September 12, 2015 . He was born September 15, 1965, in Kirksville, Missouri, to Larry Wayne Robinson and Carolyn Sue (Walker) Blake. He attended Scotland County R-1 High School, graduating with the class of 1983. He met his future wife shortly after that and in 1989 he asked Lorna to marry him. They just celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary on September 3, and he was proud of the fact they were together 30 years. Ronnie had a few jobs in his short life. Some of the early jobs that taught him so much were mowing numerous yards in Memphis, working at Keith's Cafe in Memphis and Shannon's Pallet Mill in Granger, where his Uncle Tom and Aunt Linda taught him so much. (He loved them for that!) He also worked at IBP in Columbus Junction, Iowa and at the Walmart in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, for 9 years. Ronnie has been employed at Adair Foods in Kirksville, Missouri, the past eighteen years and although it was hard work he enjoyed going in and working with his co-workers as he felt they had a special bond and they were important to him. For several years after he started there he had perfect attendance. Ronnie was also lucky enough to own a home in Memphis and also some rural acreage with a small cabin where he liked to hunt, fish and unwind after a long work week. He also learned to work with a tractor (only after a couple of mishaps!) Ronnie thought that was special because he had grown up in town. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Lorna; a step son, Brandon Bullock of Macon; his loving mother, Carolyn Blake, of Memphis; and his father, Larry Robinson, of Centerville, Iowa; five sisters: Lori Ayers, Kim Martin, Diane Blake, Dondi Clay and Heather Robinson; four brothers: Dusty Blake, Bryan Blake, Kelley Robinson and Brian Robinson and four step grandchildren: Alyssa, Preston, Madison and Ireland Bullock and many, many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lee and Maxine Walker and "Junior" and Patricia Shelley; his step father, Bill Blake and an uncle, David Robinson.
