Sheryl Sue Houston, 67, passed away March 29, 2019, at her home in Milton, Iowa, following a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born April 7, 1951, at Centerville, Iowa, to Joseph Wilson and Lavon May (Tracy) Huston. She graduated from West High School in Davenport, Iowa. She married James Houston on March 25, 2019, at their home in Milton.

Sheryl was a truck driver for many years and she and her husband sold merchandise on E-Bay. She enjoyed going to garage sales, gardening and participating in a Bible Study group. She was a member of the Christian Church in Milton.

She is survived by her husband, Jim, of Milton; a daughter, Melissa Stong, of Walcott, Iowa; two sons: Sam Crane of Liberty, Missouri and Bryan Crane of Davenport, Iowa and six grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother, Larry Huston and his wife, Diane, of Hawkins, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Jane Robertson.

A visitation, with the family present to greet relatives and friends, will be held at the Memphis Funeral Home in Memphis, Missouri on Monday, April 1 ^st from 9 until 10 A.M. followed by the funeral service, officiated by Kevin Mote, minister. Burial will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery in Van Buren County, Iowa. Casket bearers will be Lon Creath, Ed Megrath, Larry Bollman, Brian Wilson, Ron Langwell and Mike Fields.
