Stuart Miller McDermott 82 of Tempe Arizona died Wednesday September 19 2007. He was born July 2 1925 at Kansas City Missouri. He completed one year of junior college at Jefferson City Missouri. Stuart was a meteorologist at the U.S. Weather Bureau in Washington DC and resided in Maryland. He retired in 1991 and moved to Arizona. Even after retirement Stuart continued to have an interest in the weather. Stuart was a very sweet and gentle man and very religious.Surviving are a sister Marianne McDermott of Falls Church Virginia and a brother William McDermott of Chico California four half-brothers Marc McDermott Michael McDermott David McDermott Brain McDermott and a half-sister Jeanette McDermott. Also surviving are three first-cousins Joan Kinney Leslie Barbara Kinney Burneson and Frances Kinney Culver.He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Robert Alan McDermott.
