Virginia Lea Meeks 58 of Memphis Missouri died Saturday August 12 2006 at Boone Hospital in Columbia Missouri.She was born July 5 1948 in Kirksville Missouri to Perry Riley and Zerita Faye Wright Meeks.She attended Scotland County R-1 School in Memphis Missouri. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Memphis.She enjoyed playing games with family and friends Bingo shopping at Wal-Mart crafts and riding the OATS bus. She also loved going to garage sales.She is survived by two sisters Jewel Skelton and her husband Edward of Milton Iowa Nancy Barnes and her husband Gerald of Edina Missouri a brother Perry Richard Dick Meeks and his wife Ruth of Carlsbad California and a sister-in-law Donna Meeks of Memphis Missouri. Other survivors include nieces nephews and many friends.She was preceded in death by her parents a brother Hollis Meeks and a great nephew Lucas Campbell.Memorials may be given to the OATS Bus First Christian Church or St. Judes Childrens Hospital. They may be left at or mailed to the Memphis Funeral Home.
