Waldo Scott McWilliam 90 of Memphis Missouri died Monday January 2 2012 at the Scotland County Care Center in Memphis.He was born November 7 1921 in Scotland County Missouri to Crawford and Cora Alma Hardman McWilliam.He married Eva Coleen Puttoff on August 6 1943 at the Christian Church in Memphis Missouri and to this union three daughters were born.Waldo was a member of the First Presbyterian Church where he served as an elder and he also served as treasurer for the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. He was a grain and livestock farmer until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting pheasant and quail and after his retirement spent time with friends at the pool hall playing pool.He is survived by his wife Coleen of Memphis three daughters: Judy Lake and her husband Gary of Monroe City Missouri Pat Clary and her husband Milt and Lori McBee and her husband Bill all of Memphis Missouri. Also surviving are five grandchildren: Mark Auwarter and his wife Amy of Mexico Missouri Kimberly Quentin and her husband Jim of Byrnes Mill Missouri Eric Clary of Paola Kansas Tina Luderman and her husband Shawn of Bellevue Nebraska Lorrin McBee of Memphis Missouri seven great grandchildren: Haley Auwarter Anna Auwarter Bryce Sparks Molly Sparks Ryan Clary Madison Luderman Peyton Luderman and a sister Mary Lou Leonard of Stanton Illinois.Waldo was preceded in death by his parents a brother Charles who died in infancy and a great granddaughter Sherri Lynn Auwarter.A visitation with the family present to greet relatives and friends will be held at the Memphis Funeral Home on Thursday January 5 2012 from 6 until 8 P.M. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Friday January 6 2012 at the First Presbyterian Church in Memphis with the Reverends Jim Campbell and Dana Slavin officiating. Music will be provided by Brent Karhoff vocalist and Joan Hinds accompanist. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in rural Scotland County. Casket bearers will be Max Bruner Tom Deberry Steve Caldwell Frank Reed Larry Riney and Dr. Larry Wiggins. Honorary bearers will be Bill Atwater Bill Coffrin Ted Gundy and Wilbert Lohmann.
