Obituary

Wilber Earl Daniels 93 of Memphis Missouri died Friday September 2 20ll at his home.He was born March 2 1918 at Gorin Missouri to Rue and Lydia Louise Egbert Daniels.He grew up and attended school in Gorin a graduate of Gorin High School Class of 1935.He married Edith Mildred McCoy on November 9 1940 at Palmyra Missouri and to this union three children were born. Edith passed away April 6 2002. Wilber was a farmer a mechanic who was known to be able to fix anything and was a car salesman. He was an avid and dedicated pilot having lived for many years in the air. He also served as chairman on the Memphis Airport Committee for many years. He was affiliated with the First Christian Church of Memphis and was a 50-year member of the Memphis Masonic Lodge #16 A.F. & A.M.He is survived by two daughters: Jeanie Weilbrenner and her husband Larry of Canton Missouri Louise Harris and her husband Chipper of Memphis Missouri a son Larry Daniels and his wife Darlene of Kirksville Missouri and five grandchildren: Chris Harris and his wife Holly Dale Weilbrenner and his wife Andrea Ken Weilbrenner and his wife Renee Michelle Guttman and her husband David and Andrea Hunt and her husband Chris. Other survivors include twelve great grandchildren one great-great granddaughter nieces nephews and friends.Wilber was preceded in death by his wife a great grandson Kennen Weilbrenner a brother Gurden E. Daniels and a sister Virginia Roby.
